AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course

The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course equips participants with the skills needed to administer first aid, perform CPR, and operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely, promptly, and effectively. This course reflects the scientific and educational principles found in the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Designed for individuals with little or no medical training, the AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course is ideal for those who need a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, as well as for anyone seeking to be prepared for emergencies in any setting. The course covers a range of topics, including first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, illness and injury prevention, adult CPR and AED usage, and opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies. Additionally, optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR are available.
