Heartsaver First Aid

The Heartsaver First Aid course teaches participants the fundamentals of first aid, equipping them with the ability to recognize and respond to common first aid emergencies. This includes knowing how to call for help and perform lifesaving skills.

The course is based on the scientific and educational principles found in the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.

Designed for individuals with limited or no medical training, the AHA Heartsaver First Aid course is ideal for those who need a course completion card in first aid to fulfill job, regulatory, or other requirements.

The course covers a range of topics, including first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, and illness and injury prevention.
